The Conservatives are in an existential crisis and embracing Reform's rhetoric is so far getting them nowhere. What should they do?

Since Farage’s ascension back to the forefront of British politics, the Conservatives have been experiencing something of an identity crisis. To what extent are the Tories willing to reconcile that they cannot reconvene their Johnson coalition, and would they be willing to return to the One Nation politics of Cameron and May to haul back disillusioned liberal conservatives so as to displace the impact of and build a strong defence against Reform in their incumbent seats that are vulnerable to them?
